Refund policy

Version: REFUND-2026-09-v1 · Effective date: 28 September 2026

This policy applies to registrations for DHIQUEST challenges, including the Little Champs Learning Challenge, operated by Shodh Insights LLP ("DHIQUEST"). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. Everything in this policy is subject to applicable law.

1. General rule

Once a registration has been successfully completed, registration fees are non-refundable, except as set out in this policy or where applicable law requires otherwise.

2. Missed challenge opportunities

A missed opportunity is not refunded. Instead, the child may take part in the next available opportunity for that subject without an additional registration fee, up to and including the third (final) opportunity under the registration. If the final opportunity is also missed, a new registration is required for a future challenge.

3. Retakes

A child who has completed a subject challenge may take part again only with a new registration and payment of the applicable fee. Fees for completed subject challenges are not refunded.

4. Verified DHIQUEST technical issues

If a verified problem with the DHIQUEST platform prevents a child from completing a subject challenge, DHIQUEST will review the case and, where appropriate, provide another opportunity for the affected subject challenge without an additional registration fee.

Problems with the child's own device or internet connection are reviewed case by case. The parent will be advised of the available next steps.

Attempts reviewed for integrity. Opening a review of an attempt does not by itself mean that any fee is forfeited. If an attempt is invalidated after DHIQUEST confirms a serious breach, as described in section 9 of our Terms & Conditions, no refund is due solely because the result or certificate is withheld or cancelled, subject to applicable law. Where DHIQUEST offers a replacement opportunity under that section, it is provided without an additional registration fee.

5. Duplicate payments

If you are charged more than once for the same registration, the verified duplicate payment will be refunded.

6. Payment successful but registration not completed

If your payment is confirmed but DHIQUEST cannot create or restore the corresponding registration, the payment will be refunded.

If money is debited but the payment does not complete, the amount is normally reversed by the payment provider or bank under its own processes. Please contact us if it is not.

7. Correcting a genuine registration mistake

If a genuine mistake was made, such as selecting an incorrect level or subject, you may ask us to correct it before the applicable registration/exam deadline. Corrections are subject to verification by DHIQUEST.

  • The corrected registration must reflect what was genuinely intended when the registration was made. For example, a registration made for the wrong level is changed to the correct level.
  • If the corrected registration has a higher price, the difference must be paid before the correction is completed.
  • If the corrected registration has a lower price, the verified difference is refunded to the original payment method. The difference is calculated using DHIQUEST's pricing for the corrected registration, including any applicable combo pricing.

The correction process is not a way to cancel, reduce or remove subjects after registration, or to obtain a partial cancellation or refund. Changing an All Subjects Combo into fewer subjects, removing subjects after registration, or otherwise using the correction process to obtain a partial cancellation or refund is not a genuine correction and is not refunded. Requests made after the applicable deadline cannot be accepted as corrections.

8. No transfer to another child

A registration cannot be transferred to another child.

9. Cancellation or change by DHIQUEST

  1. If DHIQUEST changes a challenge date or time but can still provide an appropriate opportunity for the affected subject within the same challenge cycle, the revised or alternative opportunity is provided instead. Such a change does not by itself give a right to a refund.
  2. If DHIQUEST cancels a registered subject challenge and cannot provide any alternative opportunity for that subject within the applicable challenge cycle, the parent may choose either:
    • a transfer of the affected registration to the next available equivalent DHIQUEST challenge or opportunity, without any additional registration fee; or
    • a refund of the amount paid for the affected subject challenge.
  3. Amount refunded when the parent chooses a refund.
    • For a subject purchased individually: the amount paid for that subject.
    • For a subject included in an All Subjects Combo: the combo price actually paid, divided by the number of subjects included in that combo, per affected subject. The result is rounded to two decimal places (the nearest paisa). If more than one, but not all, of the combo's subjects are affected, this per-subject amount is multiplied by the number of affected subjects. Under current pricing this is ₹166.33 per affected subject for the Nursery combo (₹499 ÷ 3) and ₹149.75 per affected subject for the LKG or UKG combo (₹599 ÷ 4).
    • If all subjects in a combo are affected: the full combo price actually paid.
  4. This calculation applies only to refunds arising from a cancellation by DHIQUEST under this section. It does not give a right to remove subjects from a combo or to obtain a partial refund in any other situation.
  5. Refunds under this section are made as described in section 11. This section is subject to applicable law.

10. How to request a refund or correction

Email support@dhiquest.in from the email address used for the registration and include:

  • the parent's name;
  • the order number and the child's Registration ID(s), if available;
  • a description of the issue; and
  • for a duplicate payment, the payment reference(s) or transaction ID(s).

We may ask for further information to verify the request.

11. Refund method and timing

  • Approved refunds are normally made to the original payment method used for the transaction, wherever technically possible.
  • After a refund has been verified and approved, DHIQUEST aims to initiate it within 5–7 working days.
  • The time for the amount to reach your account depends on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider or other payment service provider, and is outside DHIQUEST's direct control.
  • If a refund cannot technically be made to the original payment method, DHIQUEST may contact you to arrange an appropriate alternative method after reasonable verification.

This applies to all approved refunds, including verified duplicate payments, payments for registrations that could not be completed, and approved price-difference refunds.
