1. Who we are
DHIQUEST is a brand operated by Shodh Insights LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India ("DHIQUEST", "we", "us", "our").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store and protect personal data when you visit the DHIQUEST website, register a child for a DHIQUEST challenge (such as the Little Champs Learning Challenge), or contact us.
2. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to:
parents, legal guardians and persons authorised by them who register children for a DHIQUEST challenge ("parents");
the children registered by them;
schools, teachers, educators and other approved referrers who share a DHIQUEST referral code; and
visitors to our website.
The Little Champs Learning Challenge is designed for children studying in Nursery, LKG and UKG (approximately 3–6 years of age). Children must not register themselves. A registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, or by a person authorised by the parent or legal guardian.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information about the parent
full name, email address and mobile number;
order and payment information, such as the items registered, amounts, order number, payment status and transaction references.
Payments are processed by our payment service provider. We do not store your full card, UPI or net-banking credentials.
3.2 Information about each registered child
full name, city and state/union territory;
level (Nursery, LKG or UKG) and the subject(s) registered;
the DHIQUEST Registration ID issued after successful payment; and
information generated when the child takes part in a challenge, such as participation and attendance status, responses, scores, achievement bands and certificates.
At registration we do not ask for the child's date of birth, school name, photograph or any government identity number. A camera is not required to take part in the challenge.
3.3 Referral information
If a referral code is used, whether through a referral link or entered manually, we record the code, how and when it was captured, and the approved referrer associated with it.
3.4 Consent records
We record whether the required consent was given, the version of the consent wording and of this Privacy Policy that was shown, the time the consent was given, and any optional marketing preference.
3.5 Communications
We keep the messages you send us, and records of support requests, corrections, refunds and grievances.
3.6 Website and device information
When you use our website we and our service providers may collect information such as device and browser details, IP address, pages viewed, interactions with the website and the website or advertisement that referred you. See Section 9.
4. How we use information
We use personal data to:
process registrations and payments and issue Registration IDs;
conduct and administer the challenge, including schedules, access information, reminders, challenge opportunities and technical support;
prepare and provide results, achievement bands and digital certificates, and to verify or replace certificates;
send service communications about registration, payment, schedules, reminders, results, certificates and important service updates;
record which referral code was used and prepare aggregate referral information;
respond to support requests, corrections, refunds and grievances;
keep our website and challenges secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and protect the integrity of the challenge;
understand how our website is used and improve it and our programmes (see Section 9);
send marketing communications to parents who have separately opted in (see Section 7); and
comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations and lawful requests.
5. Children's information and parental consent
A parent, legal guardian or authorised person registers the child and gives consent on the child's behalf.
We use a child's information only for purposes connected with the child's participation: registration, challenge administration, results, certificates, related communications to the parent, support, security and legal compliance.
We do not use children's registration information for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles about children, and we do not direct advertising at children. Our communications and advertising are intended for parents and other adults.
We do not publicly publish a child's name, photograph, score, achievement band, certificate or other identifying information on our website, social media or promotional materials. If we ever wish to do so, we will first ask for a separate, optional parental consent and update this policy.
6. Referral codes, schools and educators
Schools, teachers, educators and other approved referrers may share a DHIQUEST referral code or link. When a code is used, we record it with the registration.
Referrers do not receive a parent's or child's personal data because their code was used. This includes names, contact details, scores, achievement bands, certificates and any other child-level information. They may receive aggregate information, such as the number of registrations attributed to their code.
Using a referral code is not consent to share a child's information with the referrer. Any future sharing of child-specific information with a school or educator would require a separate, defined purpose and appropriate authorisation or consent.
7. Communications and marketing
Service communications. We send communications that are necessary for the registration and the challenge by email, for example confirmations, schedules, reminders, results and certificates.
Marketing. We send information about future DHIQUEST challenges, programmes, products, offers and newsletters only if a parent has separately opted in:
the option is optional and unticked by default;
it is not a condition of registering a child;
marketing is sent only to the parent's contact details, never to a child.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by writing to support@dhiquest.in. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary service communications.
We currently communicate by email. If we introduce SMS or WhatsApp in future, we will update this policy before using those channels.
8. How we share information
We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only as needed with:
Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which provides our website, checkout, order records and email notifications;
our payment service provider, which processes payments;
email, communication and productivity service providers that help us send messages and keep internal records;
technology and service providers that deliver or conduct the challenge. The provider has not yet been selected. We will review the provider, and update this policy where necessary, before children's personal data is shared with it;
analytics and advertising providers (such as Google and Meta), for website and device information as described in Section 9. We do not intentionally share children's registration details with them;
professional advisers and auditors, where necessary;
government authorities, courts or regulators, where required by law; and
a successor entity, if the DHIQUEST business is reorganised, merged or transferred, subject to applicable law.
Our service providers process personal data to provide their services to us and are expected to protect it.
9. Cookies, browser storage, analytics and advertising
Shopify. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies provided by Shopify to operate the website, cart and checkout, keep them secure, and provide Shopify's analytics.
Referral code storage. When a referral link or code is used, our registration page stores the referral code, how it was captured and the capture time in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days, so that it can be applied to your registration. This information stays on your device. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data. If you do, no stored referral will be applied.
Analytics and advertising. We plan to use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising and measurement tools. This section will apply when they are introduced.
These tools may collect information such as your device and browser details, IP address, pages viewed, interactions with our website, and the source that referred you, depending on how each service is configured. We use them to understand how our website is used, measure the performance of our advertising, and show our advertisements to parents and other adults on other websites and platforms.
We do not intentionally send children's registration details, such as a child's name, city or state, to these providers.
Where available, you can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie preferences banner, your browser settings, and the advertising settings provided by Google and Meta.
10. Where your information is processed
Our service providers may store or process personal data in India and in other countries.
11. Security
We use reasonable security practices to protect personal data, including limiting access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will take action as required by applicable law.
12. How long we keep information
Information Retention
Registration and challenge-related personal data Up to 3 years after the relevant challenge cycle
Results and certificate records Up to 5 years, mainly to verify results and certificates and to handle replacement requests
Order, payment, invoice, tax and accounting records For the period required by applicable Indian law
Consent and referral audit information Together with the corresponding registration or order records, for as long as those records are kept
We may delete or anonymise information earlier where appropriate, and we may keep anonymised or aggregated information that no longer identifies anyone.
13. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules as they come into effect, you may:
ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the child you registered;
ask us to correct, complete or update it;
ask us to erase it, subject to records we are legally required, or otherwise lawfully entitled, to keep;
withdraw your consent. After withdrawal we may not be able to continue a registration, conduct the challenge or provide results and certificates. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it;
raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer; and
nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity, where the law provides for this.
To exercise these rights, email support@dhiquest.in from the email address used for the registration. Include the parent's name and, if available, the order number or Registration ID. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
If you are not satisfied with our response to a grievance, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with applicable law.

We will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours of receipt. We will endeavour to resolve it as promptly as reasonably possible and, where the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply, within one month from the date we receive it. Where applicable law requires a different or shorter period for a particular type of complaint, that requirement will apply.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version and effective date at the top show the current version. Where we make significant changes, we will notify parents by email or by a notice on our website, and ask for fresh consent where the law requires it.
